What's New with K9 Bytes?

We know with the holidays coming up that this is your busiest time of the year. With that in mind we have made many improvements to the software to help you deal with the larger volume of clients you'll experience during the holidays.

New Enhanced Security for Corporate Version

K9 Koordinator Corporate uses MS SQL ServerOur new Corporate infrastructure allows new and exciting capabilities that will be available in the near future. The first enhancement designed for larger facilities is a new security system that has 191 security settings. Other versions of the K9 Koordinator have 40 security settings. In addition to a larger amount of security settings, the Corporate version allows employees to be restricted to use any desired number of reports, e.g. only end of day, only scheduling reports, etc. Other versions of the K9 Koordinator can allow/restrict access to 6 types of reports, i.e. clients and pets, financial, general, security log, business totals, history and transactions. If you are a Corporate user and wish to activate the new enhanced security, please contact our support staff. Please note that upon activation, all security levels for your employees will have to be reviewed and edited. Stay tuned for any future updates for our Corporate version.

However, during the selection of pets to check out, the user can specify if using only half-day or full-day packages for the current visit.

We’re constantly expanding K9 Bytes to fit your needs, and developing new programs and applications to keep K9 Bytes at the forefront of Pet Care Software. Last month we released our newest edition of K9 Koordinator, the Corporate edition. Corporate is a program for high volume facilities we recommend it for anyone with 5 or more computers because it runs on SQL server rather than Microsoft Access. We also have many new features in this update so be sure to check the “what’s new in the K9 Koordinator” section.  We have many other exciting new advances in the works so keep checking our Facebook and Twitter accounts so you know all the latest developments with K9 Bytes Software.
